Does CatalogIQ really work without internet?
Yes — it's offline-first and air-gapped. The platform installs on your Windows PC and does all the work (background removal, AI content, catalog building) locally. Images are never uploaded, so your designs stay inside your business.
Do I still need a photographer?
You need one clear, in-focus photo of each piece — nothing more. CatalogIQ handles editing, cutouts, content and catalogs. No studio, professional editor or design skills are required, but the platform polishes the photo you take rather than taking it for you.
Can catalogs show weight and purity instead of a fixed price?
Yes. For gold you can add gross/net weight, purity (22K / 18K / 916) and making charges to each piece, so catalogs reflect today's rate rather than a frozen number. These specs are entered by you — CatalogIQ never guesses details it can't see.
Is it a subscription?
No. It's a one-time licence tied to one computer, with unlimited image processing. Optional add-on packs and extra seats are available as you scale.
What jewellery does it handle?
